Whether you are a flight attendant or not, sleep is important. Poor sleep can lead to weight gain, irritability, poor brain performance, emotional imbalance.
Learn how to rest because if you don’t, you qualify of life will be negatively impacted. Here are the tips for a better rest.
Clear your head. Do you ever find yourself in bed thinking about what happened during the day. Holding on to what you should have said or done. Or thinking about an upcoming event or day. Millions of thought are running through your head and you can’t fall asleep, knowing well enough that you only have so much tome to rest. It is vital to use relaxation/meditation/breathing techniques to clear your head.
Lavender essential oil. A few drops of lavender essential oil on your palms, rub them together, inhale, then place a few drops on your feel and massage lightly. Use it raw, or if your skin is sensitive, dissolve the essential oil in a career oil or your favorite moisturizer. As it can be irritating to some skin types.
White noise. Connect to the hotel's wifi, connect your phone to a charger, and turn on white noise. Either use an app or youtube. It blocks out the noise from the outside, and only leaves consistent sound. #ointhesky_sleep
