Have you ever tried writing poetry? How about poetry of the city? .
From haikus to romantic elegies, poetry is perhaps more commonly associated with nature. .
But with writers like Frank O'Hara, Erica Meitner, James Tate, John Ashbery, John Stammers, and many more, there is a vibrant poetic tradition based entirely on the beauty, the fullness, the hubbub, the action, the colour, the noise and bustle of the city. .
If you want to learn some of the poetry basics, this event is for you. .
If you want to challenge yourself and try something new, this event is for you. .
