🍋LEMON GARLIC BUTTER CHICKEN 🍗AND GREEN BEANS SKILLET🥘🤤 Via @eatwell101 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So addicting! This paleo, low carb, keto-friendly skillet chicken recipe is a snap to fix and cook. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Details ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ·3 – 6 skinless, boneless chicken thighs ·1 pound (450g) green beans, trimmed ·3 tablespoons butter, divided or (ghee for paleo diet) ·4 garlic cloves, minced ·1 teaspoon paprika ·1 teaspoon onion powder ·Salt and fresh cracked pepper ·Juice of 1/2 lemon + lemon slices, for garnish ·1/2 cup (125ml) chicken stock ·1 tablespoon hot sauce (we used Sriracha) ·Crushed red chili pepper flakes, optional ·1/2 cup fresh chopped parsley ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Instructions ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In a small bowl, combine onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Season chicken thighs generously with the spice mixture. Set aside while you prepare green beans. Arrange green beans in a microwave-safe dish with 1/2 cup water. Cook in the microwave until almost done but still crisp. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Lay the seasoned chicken thighs in one layer in the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes then flip and cook until cooked through. Transfer chicken to a plate and set aside. In the same skillet, lower the heat and melt the remaining tablespoon butter. Add chopped parsley, garlic, red crushed chili pepper flakes, and pre-cooked green beans and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring regularly, until cooked to your liking. Add lemon juice and chicken stock and reduce the sauce for a couple of minutes, until slightly thickened. Add cooked chicken thighs back to the pan and reheat quickly. Adjust seasoning with pepper and serve the lemon garlic butter chicken thighs immediately, garnished with more crushed chili pepper, fresh parsley, and a slice of lemon if you like. Suena medio cliché pero todo todo pasa por algo, y díganme si no es así, si algo no deseado sucede es porque algo mejor viene y pues a veces algo peor, pero es para darnos ciertas lecciones en la vida. Y bueno pues si te sucede algo bueno es porque ya está, tenía que suceder.! . Éstos días han sido muy agotadores mentalmente para mi, y creo que he aprendido a ser aún más tolerante, y el contar hasta 10 si entra aquí, y hace muyyyyy bien, porque ya saben una lengua enojada, rabiosa puede ser muy destructiva e hiriente o pasar a llevar a los demás. Y no queremos que eso suceda. Y claro hay muchas situaciones que se juntan y se mezclan las emociones, lo bueno es saber identificarlas. Las emociones son parte de nuestra vida. No hay malas emociones. . Agradecer y aprender a autorregularnos y reconocer nuestras emociones de manera consciente, nos facilita todo proceso que estemos viviendo. . Levántate agradeciendo, agradece el tener algo para tu pancita, agradece estar vivo, agradece poder disfrutar de otro día más y como no, agradece al dormirte. . Sirve mucho realizar un check list al acostarte, si no sabes aún como mediar tus emociones, encuentra los momentos difíciles que viviste en el día y piensa cuál puede haber sido la mejor opción para que esa emoción no rebalsara ese vaso!
